55 New Biomarkers: Urinalysis, Lipoprotein Particles and Trace Elements

The September 2026 expansion adds a complete urinalysis panel, NMR lipoprotein particle markers, exposure elements such as lead and cadmium, and metabolic markers such as beta-hydroxybutyrate and methylmalonic acid. Report parsing, manual entry, trends and test reports cover all of them.
Since 13 September 2026, with Health3 1.17.6, the catalog includes 55 new biomarkers, the largest expansion since November 2025. Health3 now covers more than 240 markers. The new results flow through the same places as every other marker: the lab report parser recognises them on uploaded reports, manual entry finds them by name or lab synonym, and each one appears in test reports, trends and health topics with a plain-language explanation and cited references.
Urinalysis (22 markers)

How the new markers behave
- Word results stay words. A urine strip result such as negative, trace or positive is stored as printed, never turned into a number.
- Blood and urine are kept apart. Cadmium, nickel and manganese have separate entries per specimen, so a value is never compared with the wrong range.
- Typical ranges are informational for markers that have no single clinical interval. These bands are drawn in a neutral colour and do not count towards the test score.
- Lab spellings are recognised. Common aliases and unit spellings such as ug/dL, umol/L or mg% map to the catalog automatically.
