Expanded Biomarker Coverage — 180+ Supported

Parsing labs isn't new to Health3, but our coverage just took a big leap. We've expanded from 54 to 180+ biomarkers, so there are now very few results that won't be recognized and organized for you.

What's Improved

  • Broader recognition (180+) — Lipids, metabolic markers, kidney and liver panels, thyroid, vitamins & minerals, inflammation, hormones, CBC, and more.
  • Smarter naming & synonyms — We match common aliases and lab-specific phrasing (e.g., LDL-C vs. LDL cholesterol; Free T4 vs. FT4).
  • Unit handling — Automatic normalization across mg/dL, mmol/L, U/L, ng/mL, and other common units.

Coverage Highlights

  • Lipids: LDL-C, HDL-C, Triglycerides, Total Cholesterol, ApoB, Lp(a)
  • Metabolic: Glucose, HbA1c, Insulin
  • Kidney: Creatinine, eGFR, BUN

Tips & Notes

  • Enter values with the units shown on your report; we handle common unit types automatically.
  • Reference ranges can differ by lab, age, and sex — always check the ranges printed on your report.
  • Health3 insights are informational and non-diagnostic; for medical advice, consult a clinician.

Release 1.6.0

New Features

  • Multi-Page Lab Report Processing:You can now upload multiple images or photos of your lab reports, as long as they all belong to the same test done at a single date. The app will automatically process all pages and extract biomarkers from each one.
  • PDF Support:You can also parse test results from multi-page PDF files.
  • Expanded Unit Support: Added comprehensive support for many additional biomarker units.
  • Unclassified Biomarker Counter: The dashboard now displays a counter showing how many of your biomarkers don't have established reference ranges.

Improvements

  • Zero-Value Biomarker Import: You can now import biomarkers with value of 0 from your lab reports (previously these were filtered out, even though such a value makes sense for some biomarkers).
  • Redesigned Dashboard Layout: The health score dial now appears full-width in its own row, with biomarker category counters reorganized below for better visibility.
  • Enhanced Loading Indicators: When parsing lab reports, you now see detailed progress updates with percentage completion and step-by-step status messages.

Bug Fixes

  • Login Issues Resolved: Fixed login-related bug including infinite loading screens.
  • Dashboard Refresh Fixed: The dashboard now properly refreshes after editing biomarkers, resolving cases where dials would show zero or not update.
  • Biomarker Deep Dive Refresh: Fixed issue where the biomarker detail page wouldn't refresh properly after making a second edit in a row.

Thyroid Suite — 6 New Biomarkers

Thyroid Suite — 6 New Biomarkers Icon

Thyroid Suite — 6 New Biomarkers

Your thyroid is like your body's thermostat - it controls how fast or slow things run. We've added comprehensive thyroid tracking to help you understand your energy, metabolism, and overall health. What's New TSH (Thyroid-Stimulating Hormone) - Your thyroid's main control signal. High TSH often means low energy and weight gain, while low TSH can mean feeling jittery or anxious. Free T4 & Free T3 - The active hormones that actually work in your cells. These affect your heart rate, body temperature, and how you use energy. Total T4 & Total T3 - The complete picture of thyroid hormones in your blood, both active and stored forms. TBG (Thyroxine-Binding Globulin) - The carrier protein that transports thyroid hormones. Important for understanding your test results, especially if you're pregnant or on hormone therapy.

Why This Matters

  • Finally understand your fatigue - Low thyroid function is a common cause of persistent tiredness
  • Track metabolism changes - See how your thyroid affects weight management and energy levels
  • Monitor mood and cognition - Thyroid imbalances can affect mental clarity and emotional wellbeing

Key Features

  • Automatic unit conversions for all thyroid tests (pmol/L, ng/dL, and more)
  • Age and gender-specific reference ranges
  • Biomarker interactions - see how thyroid hormones affect other markers such as sex hormones

Important Notes

  • If you take biotin supplements, let your doctor know - they can make thyroid tests inaccurate
  • Thyroid markers work together - always look at TSH with Free T4/T3 for the complete picture
  • Reference ranges vary by age and pregnancy status
