Health3 vs MyBloodTest
Both apps scan lab reports into a reviewed biomarker history on iOS and Android. MyBloodTest adds a web app, family profiles, wearable data and doctor sharing; Health3 focuses on lab history with PDF exports, Apple Health Clinical Records on iOS and a multilingual interface.
Verdict
Short answer: MyBloodTest fits people who want lower US prices, a web app, family and child profiles, wearable data next to lab results, or a PIN-protected link for a doctor. Health3 fits people who want PDF exports of a test, the full history or a topic, Apple Health Clinical Records on iOS, a lifestyle journal and an interface in more languages. Both show extracted values for review before saving, and neither diagnoses or replaces a clinician.

Where MyBloodTest is stronger
On the US App Store, MyBloodTest’s prices are lower than Health3’s, and its Family plan shares Premium with up to five people. It runs on iPhone, iPad, Android and the web. Profiles can be created for children, with age-appropriate reference ranges, and ranges come from 12 published sources. A doctor can open shared results in a browser through a private link with a 6-digit PIN that expires and can be stopped, together with a short AI summary. It imports Apple Health and Google Health Connect data, connects Withings and Fitbit directly, imports CSV and MyChart C-CDA files, and shows a phenotypic (biological) age. On mobile, it can be used without an account for data stored on the device. Health3 has no sharing, family profiles or wearable data.
Where Health3 is stronger
Health3 is a blood test tracker for iOS and Android. Supported lab result PDFs and report photos go into one history, extracted values are reviewed before saving, and 300+ biomarkers can be tracked over time. Health3 also offers lifestyle journal entries, reference sources, biomarker relationships and report export. On iOS, supported Apple Health Clinical Records can also be imported. Health3 provides educational context and does not diagnose or recommend treatment. Health3 is currently available on iOS and Android. The web app is temporarily unavailable. Ongoing automated report scanning requires Premium; onboarding access and offers are shown in the mobile app.
Health3 exports a PDF of one test, the full history or a topic, and saves a Test Report as an image. MyBloodTest’s own comparison page says it does not generate a lab-history PDF. Health3 also imports supported Apple Health Clinical Records on iOS, keeps a lifestyle journal and reminder settings next to lab history, and offers its interface in more languages than the nine MyBloodTest lists.
Storage and processing
MyBloodTest’s privacy policy says data on the mobile app is stored locally on the device and that cloud sync through Google Firebase is optional on mobile and required on the web. Scanning requires a free account and internet access: report images go through a Firebase Cloud Function to one of its AI providers (Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini or OpenAI, chosen by availability, model performance and cost). The privacy policy, updated September 5, 2026, says the original lab-report file is stored in Firebase Storage under the account as a required part of scanning; its store listings say images are discarded immediately by default.
Your Health3 account uses cloud storage and server processing for report imports. The privacy policy explains service providers, retention, analytics choices and account deletion. Health3 privacy policy. These are vendor disclosures, not independent security audits.

Moving between the two
Neither app transfers data to the other directly. Health3 imports supported laboratory PDFs and report photos, so the original reports can be added to Health3 and reviewed before saving. Keep the original laboratory reports as the source copies.
Medical boundary
MyBloodTest says it is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and its terms say its normal, high and low indicators are based solely on the selected reference range. Health3 does not diagnose, prescribe, order tests or recommend treatment. Clinical questions about any result belong with a qualified professional.
